Ensuring Longevity
To maximize the longevity of your weatherstrip application, avoid exposing the newly installed tape to extreme temperatures or moisture immediately after application. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before subjecting it to harsh conditions. This will help the tape bond more effectively, contributing to a longer-lasting seal.
Regularly inspect the weatherstrip for wear and tear, especially after inclement weather. If you notice any lifting or damage, it’s best to replace the tape promptly to maintain an effective seal.
