These small gaps may look minor, but they often cause visible smoke leakage and unnecessary heat loss during grilling. This product is not written as a general gasket tape for all machines. Its main job is to improve the seal around grill lids and grill doors that open, close, heat up, and cool down repeatedly.

The tape uses a soft but stable high temperature fiber body with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. For better bonding, the grill surface should be cool, dry, and free from grease, soot, ash, and old adhesive. In sample checks, steel and stainless grill panels were cleaned with degreaser, wiped dry, and then bonded after returning to room temperature. Each section was pressed for about 30 seconds.
