It performs more reliably on glass, glazed ceramic tile, stainless steel, coated metal panels, acrylic boards, and polished plastic parts than on rough, dusty, painted, fabric, paper, or cement surfaces.

The 1mm version has a lower edge profile, which works well for narrow strips, sample labels, thin pads, display holders, and anti-slip pieces where appearance and easy peeling matter. How does washable nano gel tape regain tack after cleaning?
The gel side usually loses tack when dust, fibers, or oil block direct surface contact. To recover usable tack, rinse the adhesive side with clean water and let it air-dry naturally before applying it again. In our dust exposure check, 25mm x 50mm samples were air-dried for 30 minutes after rinsing, then retested on glass, glazed tile, and coated metal panels. Tack recovery was more stable on glass and tile, while coated metal depended more on coating quality and surface age. Avoid strong detergent or rough cloth, because residue or fibers may stay on the gel body. Tack recovery is not unlimited; it depends on dust level, surface type, peeling angle, dwell time, and repeated handling.
Where does 1mm or 2mm removable double sided gel tape work better?
The 1mm thickness is a better fit when the application needs a thinner edge, cleaner look, or smaller die-cut shape. It is often used for narrow strips, sample cards, label holders, and thin gel pads. The 2mm thickness is preferred when more gel body is needed for light cushioning or better contact on a smooth surface with slight variation.
